This is me and a "baby". I give him physical therapy 4x a day. His front legs are lame.
This is my purple glaze in a batter bowl....it holds about 8 cups.
I love this glaze. It is parchment with a ocean multicolor fan of color that floats down the sides. This bowl is large...about 12 cups.......a perfect serving bowl.
This cup holds 2 cups or 16 oz. Again it is parchment with ocean fan glaze flowing down.
Important things in life:
Many people try to fit in too much into their lives. I am guilty of that at times. One thing must never be sacrificed in all that busyness....that is relationships. Relationships to God, our spouses, and our children. God designed us for relationship with Him and designed the family as a hands on example of that love and relationship.

Woody's Smile
My brother's child died on Monday.
Woody died on Monday, April 6th. He was born on June 23, 1989. He will always be missed. No one can understand the heart of another person. No one can fathom the depths of pain a parent has when their only son dies. A part of the parent dies with the death of their child. Darren and Lucy have a daughter at home and she too has had part of her die with him. Keep Stephanie and Darren and Lucy in your prayers.
Woody was named after my grandfather, Elwood Almanzo Dunston. Grandpa Dunston helped raise my brothers and I. He was a great man who was deeply loved.
Woody's smile:
Woody's smile was broad and straight,
A Gentle Giant,
Slow to speak,
Fast to help those in need;
Woody's smile was from the heart,
He could coax a bird from a tree,
Children loved to play with him,
They knew he sincerely loved them;
Woody's smile was shared with all,
He held no grudges,
He loved to laugh and share his joy,
His smile was contagious;
He will be remembered always,
I pray that we will meet again in Heaven;
Benjamin Elwood Almanzo Alden.....Woody,
The Gentle Giant, whose smile melted the hearts of those who met him.
We miss you.
